Motorcycle fails to stop at zebra crossing, almost runs over pedestrian at Balestier Road

A motorcycle was caught on video almost running over a pedestrian at a zebra crossing along Balestier Road on Wednesday afternoon (Sep 22).
Several Stompers alerted Stomp to footage of the incident that has been circulating on social media.
In the video, the motorcycle fails to stop at the zebra crossing just as two pedestrians and a cyclist are walking across.
It stops just inches before a woman holding an umbrella.
The woman gestures at the motorcyclist who rides off after the coast is clear.
"This is irresponsible behaviour and an accident waiting to happen," said a Stomper.
