"Monster" lizard spotted feasting at water canal near TPE

Stomper Ashwin was in awe when he saw a huge monitor lizard having its meal at a water canal near a footbridge over the TPE connecting Tampines to Pasir Ris yesterday (July 10).

The lizard looked to be over a metre long at least and was feasting on what seems to be a fish it caught from the water.

The Stomper was just amazed at how big the reptile was, calling it a "monster".
