Monitor lizard climbs its way up tall tree at Corporation Dr

Stomper Rozita witnessed a monitor lizard climbing its way up a tall tree in front of Block 367 Corporation Drive yesterday (Sep 3).

The lizard looked to be fairly big but it made its way up the tree with ease as it climbed several stories above ground.

Although monitor lizards are a fairly common sight in Singapore, only a few of them have been spotted climbing trees.

It might even be as good at climbing as a monkey.
