Mobile crane tips over while lifting structure on rooftop of Tuas building, MOM investigating

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is investigating an workplace incident in which a mobile crane tipped over on the rooftop of a building on Saturday (Apr 4).

Stomper HK, who submitted videos of the incident, said it occurred at a new building that was undergoing construction along Tuas Avenue 5 at around 1pm.

Stomper Anonymous also submitted photos showing the toppled crane.

Responding to a Stomp query, the MOM said a mobile crane tipped over while it was lifting a structure on the building's rooftop.

No one was injured.

A spokesman added: "The principal is Precise Development Pte Ltd. The occupier and developer are both Hup Hin Property (S) Pte Ltd.

"MOM is investigating and has stopped all lifting operations."
