An elderly man told his family that he was going to Clementi to visit his brother -- but failed to return home and has been missing for more than two days.

Mr Chua Ee Hock, 66, left his home in Woodlands on Wednesday (Nov 6) after informing his son, Vincent, about his plans at around 11am.

A police report was made at around 7.50pm that evening when Mr Chua, who suffers from heart disease and dementia, did not return home.

Vincent told Stomp: "Police checked CCTV footage and my father was seen heading towards Woodlands MRT station at around 1pm."

Stomper Chantel, who is Mr Chua's niece, also alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a description of the elderly man.

She said: "He was dressed in a black and white lined polo t-shirt with black long pants.

"He is approximately 1.54m tall, has brown skin and grey hair, and has a hunchback."

According to Vincent, Mr Chua did not bring his wallet and Identification Card with him.

Responding to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
