Mercedes knocks down delivery rider at pedestrian crossing -- then simply drives off

An 18-year-old GrabFood delivery rider was knocked off his bicycle by a car at a pedestrian crossing along Woodlands Avenue 2 on Saturday afternoon (Nov 10).

The cyclist's father, Stomper Azman, contributed video footage of the incident that occurred at around 1pm.

In the video, a Mercedes can be seen hitting the youth and then subsequently driving off.

Stomper Azman said: "My son was injured in the leg and ankle.

"A police report has been made.

"Thank you to the dash cam owner for providing this evidence video."
