Mercedes catches fire outside Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre

A car caught fire outside the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre on Tuesday morning (Feb 26).
Stomper Alex, who works in an office nearby, contributed a video taken by his colleague, showing the burning vehicle.
Responding to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the incident along 1 Straits Boulevard at around 8.20pm.
The fire, which involved the engine compartment of a car, was extinguished by the SCDF with one hose reel jet.
No one was injured.
