Mercedes-Benz crashes into railing in accident at Geylang Bahru, 1 person suffers minor injuries

A Mercedes-Benz car crashed into a central divider railing in an accident at Geylang Bahru on Monday afternoon (Dec 19).

Stompers MsOz and Anonymous alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos and videos they took of the scene.

"The whole road was jammed," said Anonymous.

Police officers and an ambulance were on site.

Two trailer trucks were also pictured but it is unclear whether they were involved in the accident.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the incident at about 5.10pm.

"SCDF assessed one person for minor injuries and the person subsequently refused conveyance to the hospital," an SCDF spokesman said.
