Mazda crashes into traffic light in accident involving several vehicles along Sengkang East Drive

A Mazda crashed into a traffic light in an accident involving several vehicles along Sengkang East Drive.

According to a time-stamp of a video showing the aftermath of what happened that was posted on Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road, the accident took place yesterday (Jun 18) at around 2.30pm.

In the video, the front of the Mazda can be seen on a kerb after hitting the traffic light.

Several other stationary vehicles were lined up around the Madza.

Read a caption on the video:

"Accident along Sengkang East Drive 2 hours ago involving many vehicles in the direction of Hougang with the exception of PHV Mazda SLF5087T which was facing Punggol."

It us unclear what caused the accident or if anyone was injured. 

An SCDF spokesperson told Stomp that no ambulance assistance was required.
