Marine company's retreat on Labour Day shows how to motivate your workers

In an effort to increase the morale of its team, Seyon Marine Engineering Services (SME) brought their workers to East Coast Park for a retreat on Labour Day (May 1).

The team-building event took place from 11.30am to 1pm. 

Stomper William, who is a company director at SME, said: "This retreat was to encourage and motivate the workers, because the marine industry is currently going through a slum."

William said that many workers are finding it hard to look for employment opportunities, which was why the company decided to organise the team-building games.

"A big thank you to all Seyon workers for taking the time to join us on Labour Day and making this happen!"
