Stomper Caveman visited Terminal 4 of Changi Airport which started its first day of operations on the yesterday (Oct 31), and was impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities.
According to Caveman, coming into Singapore via air travel has never been simpler with the new automated check-ins and baggage-drop.
The Straits Times reports that Changi Airport will be able to handle up to 16 million passengers a year with the opening of Terminal 4, increasing its overall annual capacity to 82 million passengers.
Ms Tan Yu Ling, 27, a local who was returning from a vacation in Hong Kong, spoke about the appeal of the terminal:
“The new terminal feels very spacious.
“The automated immigration clearance system also looks very high-tech and futuristic.”
To cater to taste buds of visitors, Terminal 4 boasts a large variety of cafes and food centres offering both local and foreign delicacies.
