Man taken to hospital after car crashes into guardhouse at Farrer Road condo

A 49-year-old man was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a guardhouse at Waterfall Gardens condominium on Saturday morning (May 29).

The police were alerted to an accident involving a car and a pedestrian at 8 Farrer Road at 9.35am, they told Stomp in response to queries.

The pedestrian was conscious when taken to hospital.

Photos circulating online show a silver car with a wrecked front bumper and bonnet at the scene. The car appears to have rammed into the guardhouse, leaving it damaged.

Paramedics can also be seen attending to a man believed to be the pedestrian.

Police investigations are ongoing.
