A man was taken to hospital after the car he was in was involved in an accident with at least two other vehicles today (Mar 7) at around 10.30am.

Stomper Ed was crossing an overhead bridge when he heard a loud bang and turned around to see what had happened.

"It looked like a car driver had tried to avoid hitting a pickup that was transporting fire extinguishes," said the Stomper.

"He then swerved and mounted the curb and a van hit him from behind as well."

He shared a video of paramedics carrying the driver out of the car.

In response to a Stomp media query, a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) spokesman said that they were alerted to the accident at 10.34am.

"One person was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and another man was assessed with minor injuries and refused conveyance to the hospital," he said.
