Lesson learnt.

Stomper Vee found someone to take over the instalments of his Yamaha Nmax 155 motorcycle, but then the payments stopped. So the Stomper asked for his motorcycle back, but it was returned damaged.

He said: "My motorbike got scratched and there was no box behind. And he didn’t take any responsibility for the damage."

The Stomper shared photos of the bike showing where the damage was.

He recounted: "Before I moved permanently to Indonesia, a person named Edy agreed to give me $2,000 to continue paying for the instalments, but till today, he only paid $500."

The Stomper said Edy had been using the motorcycle since Nov 15 last year for 112 days and paid for only two instalments.

When the Stomper got back his motorcycle, he saw the scratches, which he estimated would cost more than $3,000 to repair.

"It is not cheap to repair the scratches," he said. "And I may need to change the side cover."

"I’m in Indonesia now. My friends advise me to go to Small Claims Tribunal."

"I want to share the lesson I learnt so at least other people won’t have the same experience like me. Or maybe I was too stupid to trust people just like that.

"If Stomp publishes my story, at least Edy will know what he did was totally wrong."
