A man was caught on video placing traffic cones in a parking lot at a carpark along Marsiling Road on Wednesday (Sep 1).

A video of the incident was posted on SG Road Vigilante's YouTube page.

In the video, a man is seen getting into the driver's seat of a silver Mitsubishi near Block 142 Marsiling Road.

A passenger exits the car and places the traffic cones in the middle of the lot, blocking other cars from parking there, after the driver moves the car forward.

He then gets back into the Mitsubishi before the car moves off.

Netizens have slammed the driver and his passenger for 'chope-ing' the lot.

Motorists are not allowed to reserve parking lots by placing items on or in front of a car park lot.

Offenders can be issued a fine.
