Man looking for pen pal he lost contact with 37 years ago

A man is looking to reconnect with his former pen pal whom he lost contact with 37 years ago.

Stomper Alan Thian 雅 成 shared with Stomp that he was in contact with Lai Xiuli up until he completed his national service with the Singapore Army in 1986.

"I was from Taman Ho Swee and she was from Ang Mo Kio," he said.

"She graduated from Hai Sing Girl's High School in 1983.

"After completing my national service in 1986, I started working and maybe she continued to university which is why we went our separate ways.

'If we could just reconnect, I would be very happy."
