Police are looking into an incident in which a man was caught on camera taking a pair of shoes from a corridor in Woodlands on Saturday (May 22).

A Stomper, who is the victim's neighbour, said the incident occurred in the Woodlands Circle estate at around midnight on Saturday.

A video shared by the Stomper shows a man, who is wearing a cap and carrying a backpack, loitering in the corridor.

The man can be seen looking at the victim's unit and then picking up the footwear.

A police report was made later that day.

The Stomper added: "A man went to every single floor for 'shopping' and conveniently stole my neighbour's shoes.

"Just sharing this, especially for those who are staying in the area."

Responding to a Stomp query, the police confirm that a report was lodged and are looking into the matter.
