A man in Guangdong, China, may potentially become the butt of jokes after his alleged break-in at a property was foiled.
According to Shanghaiist, the dude was spotted several times on CCTV going around the premises of what looked to be a shop totally naked.
He was eventually apprehended and explained the reason for his bizarre behaviour.
The suspect apparently told police that knew he would have to get himself dirty before entering the property, and decided to strip naked before entry.
An officer told Chinese media that the man was initially thought to have mental issues, but it turned out that he was simply an individual who took his cleanliness very seriously.
The suspect also confessed to taking 36,400 Yuan (S$7,500) from nine properties while in custody.
