Man gives "live telecast" of burning lorry in Bedok North: "Oh my god, going to burst leh"

A lorry caught fire at the junction of Bedok North Street 5 and Bedok North Avenue 4 last Wednesday (July 1).

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that it was alerted to the incident at around 5.20pm and extinguished the blaze using one water jet.

There were no reported injuries.

Stomper Freddie shared a circulated video showing the lorry in flames.

In the video, the man who is recording the incident can be heard commenting in the background, "Oh my god, going to burst leh."

He is also heard saying, "See, live telecast," before repeatedly exclaiming, "Oh my god".

The cause of fire is under investigation.
