A Stomper wants to pay tribute to an unsung hero who helped make his and his fellow commuters' train trip pleasant.

Stomper Raven shared that the hero is a cleaner who made quick work of clearing someone's vomit on an MRT train on the North-South Line on Jan 6.

"The incident happened at about 5.40 to 5.45pm from Choa Chu Kang to Jurong East MRT Stations," said Raven.

"It was really Monday blues with somebody vomiting inside the train.

"The station's cleaner did well and cleaned up as fast as possible without any train disruption and left after two stops.

"I would just like to thank the station's staff and cleaner for their quick response so that everyone didn't miss a ride to work and it was a smooth journey.

"Just imagine if it had not been taken care of.

"The smell of vomit may cause discomfort with others throwing up too.

"Thankfully no one else vomited and I hope the earlier passenger gets well."
