Driver caught on camera tossing cigarette butt out of car window at Beach Road

A driver was caught on camera tossing a cigarette butt out of the car window on Sunday (Oct 4) at 2.55pm.

Stomper Yang was driving along Beach Road towards the city when he saw a driver littering in front of him.

He sent video footage taken from his in-car camera to Stomp.

"This is the first time I've seen someone littering so blatantly," Yang said.

"And the act was clearly caught on camera too.

"I have reported this to the authorities.

"It is quite sad that people have to smoke. If so, why not close the windows and keep the smoke inside the car?

"I am also very angry that the driver just threw the cigarette butt out of the car."
