Man arrested within 24 hours for outrage of modesty at Bedok North

A 23-year-old man was arrested for outrage of modesty within 24 hours of committing the offence.

The police said they received a report on Thursday (Sep 9) at about 12.20am from a victim who said they were molested by an unknown man along Bedok North Road.

Officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on the same day.

He will be charged in court on Friday (Sep 10).

The offence carries a jail term of up to two years, a fine, caning, or any combination of such punishments.
