Man arrested over assault case involving dangerous weapon in Woodlands, 1 taken to hospital

A 32-year-old man was arrested for voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapon after a case of assault that occurred at at Block 304 Woodlands Street 31 last Tuesday (May 25).

A 29-year-old man was conscious when taken to hospital, said the police, who responded to the case of assault at 9.59pm.

Stomper David shared a circulated video that shows police officers at the scene. Blood stains can be spotted on the ground.

A photo circulating online also shows a topless man covered in blood. He can be seen with a deep gash that is partially bandaged on his left arm.

Police investigations are ongoing.
