Man arrested for throwing 2 kick scooters, shoe rack and basket of shoes down Jurong West block

The police received a report on items being thrown down from a residential block at Jurong West Street 91 on May 8, at 11.06pm.

The items turned out to be a wooden shoe rack, a red basket filled with shoes and two kick scooters.

With the aid of police cameras, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the culprit and arrested him on the same day.

The 25-year-old man will be charged in court on Friday (May 27) for his suspected involvement in a rash act, which carries an imprisonment term of up to six months, a fine of up to $2,500, or both.

The police said they have zero tolerance against acts that endanger the lives or safety of others, and will not hesitate to take action against those who blatantly disregard the law.
