Man arrested for loanshark harassment after allegedly scrawling graffiti outside Pasir Ris unit

The police have arrested a 32-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of loanshark harassment.

On Feb 20 at 1.39am, the police were alerted by the victim who informed that loanshark graffiti was found scrawled on the wall outside his unit at Block 566 Pasir Ris Street 51.

Officers from Bedok Police Division subsequently established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on Feb 21.

The suspect was charged in court yesterday (Feb 23) under the Moneylenders Act.
