Man arrested for criminal intimidation, possessing offensive weapon after dispute at Nex

A 25-year-old man was arrested for criminal intimidation and possession of an offensive weapon after a dispute with a woman at Nex shopping mall in Serangoon on Friday (March 8).

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident after noticing many police officers at the mall's carpark at around 6pm.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at 23 Serangoon Central at 5.36pm and arrested the man.

Stomp understands that he was having a dispute with a woman, though the nature of their relationship is unclear.

Police investigations are ongoing.
