Man arrested for allegedly molesting 16-year-old girl along Old Airport Road

The police have arrested a 30-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.

On Aug 16 at about 4.30pm, the police  were alerted to a case where a 16-year-old female teenager was molested along Old Airport Road.

Through ground enquiries and images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division identified the man and arrested him on Thursday (Aug 23).

The man will be charged in court with outrage of modesty on Monday (Aug 26).

If convicted, he will face a jail term of up to two years and/or fine and/or caning.
