Man arrested after allegedly stripping down to underwear at One Canberra condo

A man was arrested at One Canberra condominium on Wednesday evening (Oct 10).

Stomper Niger said that the man climbed a wall and "stripped down to his underwear" near a fountain.

Stomp understands that the man had been standing on the ledge of a wall when police officers engaged him and got him to come down. He was then arrested.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at 1 Canberra Drive at 5.59pm.

A police spokesman told Stomp: "A 51-year-old man was subsequently arrested for suspected drug-related offences and Section 7 of the Mental Health Act."
