Man arrested after allegedly injuring victim with knife during Woodlands fight

A 41-year-old man was arrested on Monday (Jan 13) for his suspected involvement in a case of voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon.

The police said they were alerted to a fight at Woodlands Street 13 on Jan 11, at around 10pm.

"A man was found with wounds allegedly inflicted by the suspect with a knife", added the police.

Through investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the man's identity and arrested him.

The man will be charged in court on Jan 14 with voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon, which carries an imprisonment term of up to seven years, and a fine or caning, or both.
