Man and woman taken to hospital after accident involving car and taxi at Hougang junction

A man and woman were taken to hospital after an accident involving a car and a taxi at the junction of Hougang Avenue 10 and Hougang Avenue 8 on Friday afternoon (Nov 1).

Stomper Jason alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos taken at the scene via WhatsApp.

In the photos, both cars appear to be badly damaged with debris scattered over the road.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 3.03pm.

A man and a woman, aged 57 and 62 respectively, were conscious when taken to Sengkang General Hospital, a police spokesman said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
