A 23-year-old man and a 15-year-old teenager have been arrested for their suspected involvement in a case of robbery with hurt at Bedok North.
The police said in a statement they received a report from an 18-year-old male teenager who had allegedly been assaulted and robbed by two male acquaintances along Bedok North Street 2.
Cash amounting to $940 and in-ear headphones were allegedly taken from the victim.
Officers from Bedok Police Division established the identities of the duo and arrested them within a few hours of the report being made.
Cash amounting to $750 and the in-ear headphones were recovered and seized.
The 23-year-old man and 15-year-old teenager will be charged in court on Apr 16 and Apr 19 respectively.
The offence of robbery with hurt carries a jail term of between five and 20 years, with at least 12 strokes of the cane.
