Man, 52, who wielded pair of scissors at Tampines arrested for public nuisance

A 52-year-old man has been arrested for public nuisance, the police said in a statement.

The police were alerted to a man wielding a pair of scissors and causing alarm to members of the public along Tampines Avenue 10 on July 18 at about 6.45pm.

Officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him at Pasir Ris Street 71.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Anyone convicted for public nuisance may be fined up to $1,000.
