Man, 33, arrested for allegedly molesting woman, 27, along Northshore Drive

A 33-year-old man was arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.

On Oct 12 at 11.46pm, a 27-year-old woman reported that she had been molested by an unknown man along Northshore Drive.

Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducted follow-up investigations and arrested the suspect on the same night.

The suspect will be charged in court tomorrow (Cct 16) with the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.

If convicted, he is liable to a jail term of up to two years or with a fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
