Love Story: We have never once argued in our 7 years of marriage

Kitty, who is from Vietnam, and her Singaporean husband have never once argued despite having been married for seven years.

She shares the journey that they have been on, from courtship to marriage to parenthood:

Kitty wrote: "I knew him since 2009 and we started dating by going to the movies. We both loved to watch movies.

"From the moment I saw him, we knew that we belonged to each other and the flame of love kept our love strong.

"That marked the beginning of our courtship. Over the years of our courtship, we have been through quite a bit of ups and downs, laughter and tears.

"Most importantly, be it good times or bad times, we must always be there for each another. That is the promise we committed to each another after we became a couple.

"Once we knew we loved each other, we tried to plan for our wedding. Nothing is impossible if you have love. It is like the lyrics of Taylor Swift's 'Love Story':

Romeo save me, they're trying to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story, baby just say "Yes".

"On 8 October 2011, after two years plus of courtship, we became husband and wife.

"Because I am not local, we celebrated our wedding both in Singapore and in Vietnam. We planned it all and made it come true.

"On 31 October 2012, our first child was born. That was our start of our parenthood journey.

"On 24 September 2015, our second child was born.

"The happier times multiplied by two so the tiredness is times two as well. Moreover, we enjoy and grow old with our kids. We share happiness and joy to grow our family.

"However, when it comes to housework, we have a lot of things to share in our house because both of us are working.

"We tried our best to make it home. We do together, play together and enjoy together. The love in the family flows deep and strong, leaving us memories to treasure.

"For the past seven years plus, I really thank God that we had totally no arguments and quarrels. Although there were times when we faced conflicts and even stopped talking to each other, we were thankful that it did not lead to any arguments or quarrels.

"Come 14 February 2018, I would like to take this time to thank my husband for being my lifelong partner, loving me for who I am, and tolerating my random nonsense.

My love for you is a journey, starting at forever and ending at never. It is happily ever after.

"Happy Valentine's Day to my dearest hubby Ronan. Love you always and forever, my dear."
