Stomper Anh, who is a tourist from Vietnam, lost her passport at the BreadTalk outlet in 313 Somerset on Friday (May 5) at around 9.30pm.

She had not realised that she had dropped it at the eatery and by the time she returned half an hour later, it was gone.

She made a police report on Friday.

She returned to BreadTalk on Sunday (May 7) to view the security footage and saw that a young man dressed in black had picked up her passport from the floor.

"He picked it up just five minutes after I left," she said.

"In the video, he approached the cashier to hand it to them but they did not take it.

"I think he wanted to return it but did not know how to find me."

She hopes that she can find her passport through Stomp:

"I really need that passport because my country's law takes my more than a week to give a temporary one."

She said that the passport is under her name: Nguyen Viet Phuong Anh.

"If you found the passport or have any information regarding it, please contact Stomp at stomp@stomp.com.sg or WhatsApp 9384 3761.
