Stomper AY dropped his dark-brown Bottega wallet along Boon Lay Way beside Westgate last Friday (Apr 14) at around 9pm while rushing for a taxi, and is appealing for help to be reunited with it because it has a lot of sentimental value.

The wallet contains some bank cards, cash and a Gudetama EZ-Link card.

Said the Stomper:

"I was too careless on that day because I had just lost someone very special to me.

"I was waiting for a taxi along Boon Lay Way when a cab stopped way ahead of me.

"I rushed to the cab... few seconds later, I noticed that my wallet was not with me anymore. I immediately told the driver to make a U-turn and drive back to the area I boarded the taxi at.

"We made it back in less than two minutes for sure... but the wallet wasn't there anymore.

"I told the driver: "Sorry, I lost my wallet, I can't take your cab."

"I alighted and started searching for my wallet at the roadside.

"There was a family waiting by the roadside and a man asked me if I was looking for a long and dark-coloured wallet.

"I said yes, and the man told me that they saw a biker pick up the wallet from the roadside and drive off.

"They thought that he had dropped his wallet.

"I was so sad and tears suddenly started to drop... I don't really care about the money and the cards in my wallet.

"The wallet is something very special to me because it was a gift from my girlfriend, who is the person I love the most in my life.

"The Gudetama EZ-Link card inside is very special to me too.

"A few days later, I found out that the person who took my wallet used my EZ-Link card at Clementi. I know my EZ-Link card number and I was able to track it.

"If he is using the EZ-Link card, it means that there is no chance that he is willing to give it back anymore.

"If somehow the person who picked up my wallet is reading this, I beg you to return it to me or pass it to a police station.

"The wallet and the Gudetama EZ-Link card is really something special to me and very precious. I know it is hard for you to return it back to me now... but if you choose to return it to me, I promise that I will not do anything to you or report you to the police.

"You don't have to return me the cash inside. I hope that I can get it back from you or the police soon.

"Lastly... people who pick up something in the future, please always remember that those things might be nothing and just an expensive thing to you, but some people have very special feelings and memories with the item.

"I hope no one else will have to go through what I went through, it's so sad and really painful...

"Thank you Stomp for helping me share this post and thank you to everyone who read and shared this post."
