Lorry's front wheel catches fire along AYE

A lorry caught fire along the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) on Friday (Aug 20).
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp that it was alerted to the fire on the AYE, towards Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) and before Lower Delta Road exit, at around 11.25am.
Stomper Vittall shared a video showing smoke billowing from the lorry.
The fire involved the lorry's right front wheel and was extinguished by SCDF using a hose reel.
There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
