Lorry turns turtle on CTE during heavy downpour

A lorry overturned on the Central Expressway (CTE) towards the Seletar Expressway (SLE) during a heavy downpour on Saturday afternoon (Mar 7).

Stomper Watson alerted Stomp to the incident and shared with Stomp footage taken from his vehicle's rear and front in-car cameras.

In the video, the driver of the lorry appears to lose control, causing the lorry to overturn after hitting the expressway's side railing.

Watson pulls over, along with other motorists, and runs over to offer assistance to the lorry driver.

Debris is seen scattered all over the road.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 3.55pm.

No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
