A lorry mounted a pavement along Selegie Road and hit three pedestrians on Friday (June 9) afternoon.
Mr Zheng, a resident who lives nearby, told Shin Min Daily News that he went to look out his window after hearing a loud bang.
The eyewitness told the Chinese daily that he saw three people injured and a food delivery lorry on the pavement.
"Four to five residents and stall owners rushed there with a first-aid kit and bandaged a woman's head," he said.
According to Mr Zheng, a man injured his left arm, while another woman injured her right leg.
The police said that they were alerted to the accident involving a lorry and three pedestrians along Selegie Road towards Serangoon Road at 3.38pm.
"Three pedestrians, aged between 21 and 57, were conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital," said a police spokesperson.
Police investigations are ongoing.
