Lorry hits Volvo and van after failing to stop in time for red light at River Valley Road

A lorry collided with a car and a van after failing to stop in time for a red light at the junction of River Valley Road and Kim Seng Road on Tuesday morning (July 9).

Stomper Jimmy witnessed the incident at around 7.40am and shared with Stomp a video recorded on his dashboard camera.

Jimmy told Stomp: "The traffic light turned red and vehicles stopped, but the lorry crashed into a Volvo and a van.

"I guess the lorry was unable to stop in time due to the wet road as it had rained earlier, causing it to swerve in between two vehicles.

"Everyone seemed fine though."

Stomp understands that no injuries were reported.
