Lorry crashes into tree on central road divider at Boon Lay Drive

A lorry crashed into a tree along Boon Lay Drive on Tuesday night (Jan 1).

Stomper Satria, a resident at Block 191, said he heard a "loud bang" at around 10.20pm.

Photos taken by Satria show the damaged lorry and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers at the accident.

Stomp understands that no injuries were reported.

Satria told Stomp: "I, as well as two other guys at the scene, called the police.

"A couple exited from the lorry and I asked if they were all right.

"I think they were safe and sound, though the woman appeared to be in shock."
