Lorry catches fire along PIE towards Changi

A lorry caught fire along the Pan-Island Expressway towards Changi at around 12.45pm today (March 13).
Stomper Zulsyafiq, who passed by the scene, said the lorry was carrying wooden boxes.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the vehicle fire at 12.45pm.
The fire was extinguished using one water jet.
No injuries were reported.
