Man, 25, sent to hospital after tipper truck and lorry crash along Tanah Merah Coast Road

A tipper truck and a lorry were involved in an accident along Tanah Merah Coast Road yesterday afternoon (July 17).

The 25-year-old tipper truck driver was conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital.

In response to media queries by Stomp, the Police said they were alerted to the accident along Tanah Merah Coast Road towards Changi Aviation Park at 1.33pm.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Stomper Sudharson was passing by the area and took photos showing the collision's aftermath, which he shared with Stomp.

In the pictures, the tipper truck can be seen overturned on its side, with the soil that it was transporting spilled all over the road.

Nearby, a lorry lay mangled on the grass patch.
