Litterbugs ignore nearby bin, turn Jurong West pavilion into 'rubbish collection centre'

Submitted by Stomper Casey

Stomper Casey is disappointed that a recently constructed pavilion at Block 492, Jurong West Avenue 1 often littered with rubbish, such as empty beer cans, food packaging and used cups -- despite a dustbin being placed nearby.

Said Casey:

“There are often cigarette butts and plastic bags strewed across the pavement.

“Even if there is a dustbin nearby, these litterbugs don’t even bother and just throw their rubbish all over.

“I hope the authorities will step up and apprehend these inconsiderate litterbugs.

“I think more signs reminding the public not to litter will also help.”
