Limo taxi crashes into railing outside Marina Square after allegedly swerving to avoid 'unknown car'

A 55-year-old man was taken to hospital after crashing his limousine cab into a metal railing outside Marina Square shopping mall on Tuesday evening (Oct 23).

Stomper KS was at the accident scene at around 6.05pm and took a video which he then sent to Stomp.

"The ambulance had just arrived when I was there," he added.

Stomp understands that according to the driver, an unknown car had allegedly entered his path all of a sudden and caused him to swerve.

He then mounted the kerb and collided with the railing.

Responding to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident along 6 Raffles Boulevard at 6.01pm.

The driver was conscious when conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Stomp understands that he suffered pains on his neck and hips.

Police investigations are ongoing.
