The police are investigating an incident where two youths were caught on video climbing inside a dryer and dislodging a glass panel at a laundromat at Block 74 Whampoa Drive on Jan 23.

The owner of MAMA Laundry posted the video on their Facebook page.

In the video, one of the teens is seen climbing into the dryer.

His friend appears to want to climb in with him before playfully closing the dryer door and trapping him inside.

The youth inside the dryer appears to panic and starts kicking at the dryer door, dislodging the glass panel which falls to the floor.

He then attempts to fix it but fails.

"This is a very dangerous act," the owner of the laundromat said in the post.

They added that they made a police report against the two teens and another 'female friend' who was purportedly seated at a bench taking a video of the duo.

"We do not condone abuse/misuse of our washer or dryer and will not hesitate to make police report against anyone who does that to our machines (sic)," the post said.

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
