Kind stranger offers to drive family into Singapore after their car breaks down during jam on Causeway

Lately, there have been several reports of massive jams on the Johor-Singapore Causeway but what would you do if your vehicle broke down in the middle of one?

One Stomper and his family found themselves at a loss but were saved by the kindness of a stranger.

"I am writing to express my sincere gratitude and admiration for Mr Ibrahim who went above and beyond to assist my family during a difficult time," said Stomper Mohammad.

"On the evening of Dec 9, 2022, we found ourselves stuck in a traffic jam on the Causeway when our car suddenly broke down.

"We were stranded and unsure of what to do when Mr Ibrahim pulled over and offered to help."

Mohammad said that Mr Ibrahim very generously offered to drive his family into Singapore, despite them being strangers.

"Mr Ibrahim's kindness and generosity are truly remarkable and we are deeply grateful for his help," he said.

"He is a shining example of the compassion and selflessness that exists within our community and we will always be grateful for his assistance.

"Thank you again, Mr Ibrahim, for all that you did to help us in our time of need.

"Your kindness will not be forgotten."
