Kind ITE students help cabby change tyres -- and even decline reward

Stomper Irfan was touched to see three Institute of Technical Education (ITE) students help a taxi driver change his tyres in Ang Mo Kio.

What's even more inspiring was what the students said when the cabby offered them money in return for their help.

The Stomper described what happened:

"While walking somewhere in Ang Mo Kio near a mosque, I saw three guys helping a taxi driver change tyres.

"I asked them if everything was good and one ITE student said, yes all good, sir.

"I stayed and waited till the tow truck came.

"The taxi driver offered the students money, but they declined it as they said they wanted to return to society what they have learned."
