Aljunied-Hougang Town Council said it has conducted a joint inspection with the Housing Development Board (HDB) after bird cages were seen on the window ledges of the topmost floor at Block 832 Hougang Central.

Stomper Chan shared his concern about the situation: "I shudder when I think of the possible consequences of killer litter should the bird cages fall during strong winds."

The photos provided by the Stomper show a total of four bird cages placed on two separate window ledges.

In response to a Stomp query, the town council said it is aware of the situation and has highlighted this matter to HDB.

"A joint inspection was conducted on Monday (July 20) for HDB’s follow up with the resident," a town council spokesman said.
