Jalan Besar shop asks man to return or pay for items he took by today -- or they'll call police

Update:

Regina Specialties told Stomp on Aug 9 that the man has come forward to make payment.

Original article:

A man who allegedly took a motorcycle helmet and a visor from a shop in Jalan Besar has been requested to either return the items or pay for them.

Regina Specialties, a motorsports shop that sells riding gears and apparel, posted an appeal on its Facebook page on Thursday (Aug 6).

The shop, which is located at 35 Kelantan Lane, said a man had dropped by on Wednesday (Aug 5), at around 4pm.

Regina Specialties said the man had taken "a EVORS959 gloss black L helmet and a RS959 iridium visor out of our shop without paying."

Accompanying the post were photos of the man, who can be seen dressed in a black 'Givenchy' shirt and black pants. He also had a black mask on and was carrying a sling bag.

Regina Specialties added: "We urge anyone who knows this guy to ask him to return the product or make the payment by Aug 7. We will contact the police after the deadline given.

"We would like to let everyone know that shoplifting is a very serious offence and do not condone this behavior, especially in our riding community."

The Facebook post has been shared over 800 times to date.
